JUBILEE YEARS

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is interesting to look further why the days, the months, the times and years were given. We know, according to the Biblical calendar, that God created the heaven and the earth in 11013 B.C. He took Him 7 literal days to finish everything. We know those days were normal days, because God described each day as evening and morning.  And we learn from Godís mouth through the Lord Jesus Christ:

Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. Joh 11:9

As the morning is 12 hours, the evening is also 12 hours, which give a total of 24 hours a day.   We read:

Gen 2:1
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Gen 2:3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

It is amazing to see how God made the 7th day or the last day of His creation a Sabbath day. Who did help God during the 7 days of creation? No, He did it all by himself and rested on the last day. That physical creation is a picture of our spiritual salvation in Christ throughout times. Nobody can contribute in Godís spiritual creation. He proved it by demonstrating it alone on the cross:

Isa 59:16  And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his

righteousness, it sustained him.

This is further detailed in Isaiah 53. So, there is no work of physical Sabbath or any other day, no physical water baptism, eating, drinking etc. that can be a contribution to your salvation. Christ alone does the spiritual creation as He did the physical creation:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Col 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; Col 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Col 1:21  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled Col 1:22  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Since the beginning of time, after the fall of Adam, Jesus started His salvation plan. In the days of Noah, Jesus was proclaiming His gospel of Salvation through Noah:

1Pe 3:18  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1Pe 3:19  By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 1Pe 3:20  Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

We see that physical salvation was completed 7 days after Noah began to call all the animals into the ark. And we also know that a complete end of physical salvation is coming after 7000 years anniversary of the flood:

(4990 + 2011) Ė 1 = 7000.

Jacob, the parent of Jesus was born in 2007 B.C., a jubilee year. David also, a parent of Jesus, became king in 1007 B.C., a jubilee year. Jesus, the essence of salvation, was born in 07 B.C., a jubilee year. He was born in the 7th month of the Jewish calendar. He was baptized in the 7th month of the Jewish calendar. He also rested in the tomb on the 7th day of the week. Why those years, months and days are precisely connected with the number 7?

Since creation began in 11013 B.C., beginning with the first years, 7 years later bring us to 11007 B.C. In the Biblical calendar it is also the year 7 since creation. 11007 was a jubilee year. Now, here is our new list of jubilee years from creation to the birth of Christ:

-11007   -10957   -10907   -10857   -10807   -10757   -10707   -10657   -10607   -10557   -10507   -10457   -10407   -10357   -10307   -10257   -10207   -10157   -10107   -10057   -10007   -9957   -9907   -9857   -9807   -9757   -9707   -9657   -9607   -9557   -9507   -9457   -9407   -9357   -9307   -9257   -9207   -9157   -9107   -9057   -9007   -8957   -8907   -8857   -8807   -8757   -8707   -8657   -8607   -8557   -8507   -8457   -8407   -8357   -8307   -8257   -8207   -8157   -8107   -8057   -8007   -7957   -7907   -7857   -7807   -7757   -7707   -7657   -7607   -7557   -7507   -7457   -7407   -7357   -7307   -7257   -7207   -7157   -7107   -7057   -7007   -6957   -6907   -6857   -6807   -6757   -6707   -6657   -6607   -6557   -6507   -6457   -6407   -6357   -6307   -6257   -6207   -6157   -6107   -6057   -6007   -5957   -5907   -5857   -5807   -5757   -5707   -5657   -5607   -5557   -5507   -5457   -5407   -5357   -5307   -5257   -5207   -5157   -5107   -5057   -5007   -4957   -4907   -4857   -4807   -4757   -4707   -4657   -4607   -4557   -4507   -4457   -4407   -4357   -4307   -4257   -4207   -4157   -4107   -4057   -4007   -3957   -3907   -3857   -3807   -3757   -3707   -3657   -3607   -3557   -3507   -3457   -3407   -3357   -3307   -3257   -3207   -3157   -3107   -3057   -3007   -2957   -2907   -2857   -2807   -2757   -2707   -2657   -2607   -2557   -2507   -2457   -2407   -2357   -2307   -2257   -2207   -2157   -2107   -2057   -2007   -1957   -1907   -1857   -1807   -1757   -1707   -1657   -1607   -1557   -1507   -1457   -1407   -1357   -1307   -1257   -1207   -1157   -1107   -1057   -1007   -957   -907   -857   -807   -757   -707   -657   -607   -557   -507   -457   -407   -357   -307   -257   -207   -157   -107   -57   -7

We can also call them the Old Testament Jubilee years. And there were a total of 221 Jubilee years. From the birth of Jacob to the birth of Christ we have exactly a total of 40 jubilee years:

2007 B.C.- 07 B.C. = 2000 years / 50  = 40 jubilee years. Jacobís children spent 400 years (40 x10)in Egypt and 40 years in the wilderness. Everything connected to Jesus Christ. The number 7 signifies perfect completeness.

What about the New Testament era?

As each jubilee is 50 years away from each other, the next jubilee since Jesus birth was:

(7 + 44) Ė 1 = 50

Here is the list of the jubile years for our era:

44   94   144   194   244   294   344   394   444   494   544   594   644   694   744   794   844   894   944   994   1044   1094   1144   1194   1244   1294   1344   1394   1444   1494   1544   1594   1644   1694   1744   1794   1844   1894   1944   1994

The next Jubilee will probably be in 2044. Anything is possible during the 50 years of the 1994 Jubilee!
